Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-09-010
Out of the University of California this story and your not going to believe it. They have found a way to make tobacco plants in to solar cells. Who would thank that something people smoke would be used for an alternative energy source.
As the world continues its quest to use alternative energy, the latest possible solution comes from the most unlikely of sources: the tobacco plant. Can you believe it a tobacco plants This is from the University of California, Berkeley. It is nice to see tobacco used for alternative energy and not smoking the stuff. This new discovery is based on the possibility of literally programming the cells of the plants to get solar cells from tobacco plants. Wonder if they can do this with other plants? The science behind it is actually pretty simple (at least in explanation form) and pretty amazing. By using a genetically engineered virus, scientists were able to literally transform the cells of the plants to create synthetic solar cells. Now this is way out of Don Conrads head what about you?
Instead of creating some new form of tobacco plant, I thank some people alredy tried that one. they are actually applying their chemistry to full grown tobacco plants. Their custom-made virus is sprayed on the plants and then it is time to sit back and let it work its magic. The virus infects a cell which then enables the virus to spread just as any other virus would. What ever you do not smoke it. As the infected cells form, they are creating artificial chromophores that make high powered electrons out of light. This is a very new way of making alternative energy.
All this is done before the plants are harvested , and Once harvested, the structures are extracted and put into a liquid solution to dissolve. This solution is then applied to plastics or glass and poof, solar cells from tobacco plants is a reality. While the whole process may seem a little off the wall, ya I would say so I come from Kansas and this is a new one for me. If this process can be refined and work in mass form, do you see the potential for jobs here I do. This well totally changes solar energy and alternative energy as we know it.
While this technology is exciting, the effect that it could have on an economy that seems to continue to go backwards is even more incredible. One of the hardest hit industries during the last decade has been the farming industry. Yep that is a facet and Farmers here in Kansas and in other states have been struggling with their crops and tight times have not made things easier. An influx into the tobacco industry to create solar cells from tobacco plants could be a nice boost in the arm as farmers who are waiting for the bank to come and take their land will now have a viable way out. This is so good, if we just think out of the box kind of way it is do something like this
These cells would not be expected to last as long as “typical” solar cells, but they would probably be much less expensive. That being the case, solar cells from tobacco leaves could provide both an organic way to produce solar cells and the economic boost that the farming industry needs. So as you can see this makes a lot of since we do not need the government to pull us out of this bade economy we the people can do it just give us a chance

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-08-01
In the last post I talked about the Advantages of using wind power as a alternative energy source. Lets look at some of the disadvantages.
Disadvantages
Wind power must compete with conventional generation sources on a cost basis. Depending on how energetic a wind site is, the wind farm may or may not be cost competitive. Even though the cost of wind power has decreased dramatically in the past 10 years, the technology requires a higher initial investment than fossil-fueled generators.
The major challenge to using wind as a source of power is that the wind is intermittent and it does not always blow when electricity is needed. Wind energy cannot be stored (unless batteries are used); and not all winds can be harnessed to meet the timing of electricity demands.
They said that wind power must compete with conventional generation sources on a cost basis. I believe this cost will be received back in do time with the savings. I don’t know about you but I don’t know of any power source that can be saved with out the use of batteries. Yes if you live in a place that the wind will not blow for several days thin you might want to reconsider your alternative energy source. Can you tell me wear in the world the wind don’t blow for that long? I live in Kansas the wind never quits blowing.
Good wind sites are often located in remote locations, far from cities where the electricity is needed.
Wind resource development may compete with other uses for the land and those alternative uses may be more highly valued than electricity generation.
I live in Wichita and wind power is the alterative energy source that I see most cities going for.
Although wind power plants have relatively little impact on the environment compared to other conventional power plants, there is some concern over the noise produced by the rotor blades, aesthetic (visual) impacts, and sometimes birds have been killed by flying into the rotors. Most of these problems have been resolved or greatly reduced through technological development or by properly sitting wind plants.
I have never been to a wind farm so I do not know what kind of noise they produce. Why are we warred over some birds being killed by flying into the rotors. Is this going to stop people from putting up wind turbines on there properties I hope not!!

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-07-2010 As we look at wind power as a alternative energy recourse you can see it is a very clean way of producing power for us. lets look at some Advantages and Disadvantages of Wind Energy as a alternative energy resource. Wind energy offers many advantages, which explains why it's the fastest-growing energy source in the world. Research efforts are aimed at addressing the challenges to greater use of wind energy.
Advantages
Wind energy is fueled by the wind, so it's a clean fuel source. Wind energy doesn't pollute the air like power plants that rely on combustion of fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas. Wind turbines don't produce atmospheric emissions that cause acid rain or greenhouse gasses.
Wind energy is a domestic source of energy, produced in the United States. The nation's wind supply is abundant.
Wind energy relies on the renewable power of the wind, which can't be used up. Wind is actually a form of solar energy; winds are caused by the heating of the atmosphere by the sun, the rotation of the earth, and the earth's surface irregularities.
Wind energy is one of the lowest-priced renewable energy technologies available today, costing between 4 and 6 cents per kilowatt-hour, depending upon the wind resource and project financing of the particular project.
Wind turbines can be built on farms or ranches, thus benefiting the economy in rural areas, where most of the best wind sites are found. Farmers and ranchers can continue to work the land because the wind turbines use only a fraction of the land. Wind power plant owners make rent payments to the farmer or rancher for the use of the land.
Now lets look at this, wind energy doesn’t pollute the air witch is a big plus, and another thing I see is that a lot of family farms and places out in the county put wind turbines up as a way to cut down on the cost of electricity. If you combined both wind and solar power to your property you might eliminate the cost all together. I will look at solar power in up coming articles.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-05-01 You know I can tell you that I’m in one of the best places to build a wind farm. In Kansas we are totally flat and lots of wind. Out in the country in Kansas is the best because the wind almost never quiets and lots of open fields make it ideal for building wind farms.
I come across some information to day on putting a small wind turbine on your property this is a great way to save on your power bills.
I would like to put up a wind turbine at my house or property. How do I get started?
The basic steps for installing a small wind turbine on your property are:
1. Determine whether the wind resource in your area makes a small wind system economical;
2. Determine your household electricity needs by looking at monthly or yearly electricity usage
3.Find out whether local zoning ordinances will allow wind turbine installations.
4.Purchase and install a wind turbine sized to the needs of your household.
There is a lot more I’m going to be talking about wind farms as a alternative energy source.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-04-2010 Hello all and welcome back to the alternative energy and renewable energy blog
Wind power is the best clean alternative energy or renewable energy there is right now from what I can see. I found some great information on wind power.
How Does a Wind Turbine Work?
Wind turbines operate on a simple principle. The energy in the wind turns two or three propeller-like blades around a rotor. The rotor is connected to the main shaft, which spins a generator to create electricity.
Wind turbines are mounted on a tower to capture the most energy. At 100 feet (30 meters) or more above ground, they can take advantage of faster and less turbulent wind.
Wind turbines can be used to produce electricity for a single home or building, or they can be connected to an electricity grid (shown here) for more widespread electricity distribution.
How Wind Turbines Work
Wind is a form of solar energy. Winds are caused by the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun, the irregularities of the earth's surface, and rotation of the earth. Wind flow patterns are modified by the earth's terrain, bodies of water, and vegetation. Humans use this wind flow, or motion energy, for many purposes: sailing, flying a kite, and even generating electricity.
The terms wind energy or wind power describe the process by which the wind is used to generate mechanical power or electricity. Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. This mechanical power can be used for specific tasks (such as grinding grain or pumping water) or a generator can convert this mechanical power into electricity.
So now we know how this type of alternative energy works now lets see how a wind turbine make ellecticity.
So how do wind turbines make electricity? Simply stated, a wind turbine works the opposite of a fan. Instead of using electricity to make wind, like a fan, wind turbines use wind to make electricity. The wind turns the blades, which spin a shaft, which connects to a generator and makes electricity.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 2nd 02-03-2010
Will, as I was typing the last story about alternative energy and renewable energy I got a couple of emails.
First one is about wood -powered cars yep you heard right wood-powered cars. Now this is going to rub
Some of them tree saving people the wrong way. I never heard of such thing before. The full story is below.
Few people that are ripping around the streets in today’s gas guzzlers will remember wood-powered cars, but if things continue the way they are, they may be lucky enough to see one pull up next to them at the light. Wood-powered cars are starting to pop up again as yet another means of saving our fossil fuels. Wood-powered cars made their first big appearance in Europe during WWII.
A wood gas generator was attached to the vehicle so that the drivers could save fuel, yet still keep their cars operational. Looking at some of the pictures from back then, the cars literally look like they have a wood-burning furnace attached to the hood or trunk. It may have looked funny, but it was actually very efficient. While this technology showed incredible advancements over the next decade, it became obsolete as soon as the war was over and countries started to see some normalcy come back into their lives. With the apparent need to conserve gas for the war effort gone, the odd looking devices were no longer used and the automobile returned to normalcy.
Because of the renewed effort to save our fossil fuels and reduce the carbon footprint that is left by current automobiles, wood-powered cars are again getting some attention. There is a renewed interest and there is actually somewhat of a cult following starting to develop all over the world. While the contraptions may look quite a bit different from the antiques that were used during WWII, they are still serving the same purpose.
There is one obvious drawback to the vehicles, and that is that they are definitely not aerodynamic. Whether the car owner chooses to mount the furnace to their car or pull it via a trailer, there is quite a bit more drag created when exploring the local roads. However, this particular power source is not about speed, it is about conservation. Look for this technology to start popping back up at auto-shows and for it to gain a lot more attention from green enthusiasts.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-03-2010 Hello all and welcome bake to the alternative energy and renewable energy blog
You know in my last posts we have been talking a lot about wind power lets look again at Wind Farms Wind power is one of the fastest growing niches in the alternative energy sector. Wind turbines generate clean and green power but they have the precondition that the power unit has to be set up in a strong wind area. Wind power is widely used in the USA and Europe and is growing at the rate of 30 percent annually, with a worldwide installed capacity of 121,000 megawatts in 2008.
With wind power we can make clean and green alternative energy for all of us. The world needs energy that we can power the world with that wont pollute all the lakes and the air and I think for the most part im for wind power.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 02-02-2010 Hello all
Today, people are realizing that wind power "is one of the most promising new energy sources" that can serve as an alternative to fossil fuel-generated electricity. As of 1999, global wind energy capacity topped 10,000 megawatts, which is approximately 16 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. That's enough to serve over 5 cities the size of Miami, according to the American Wind Energy Association. Five Miami’s may not seem significant, but if we make the predicted strides in the near future, wind power could be one of our main sources of electricity.
Have you seen all the Wind Farms popping up every place now when you look at wind power you can see how clean of a alternative energy source it is let’s look at what Wind power is one of the fastest growing niches in the alternative energy sector. Wind turbines generate clean and green power but they have the precondition that the power unit has to be set up in a strong wind area. Wind power is widely used in the USA and Europe and is growing at the rate of 30 percent annually, with a worldwide installed capacity of 121,000 megawatts in 2008.
So as you can see we can defiantly use wind power a alternative energy recourse. I believe it is a great way for us to generate clean power for the world and 121,00 megawatts is a lot of power. If you think back, wind power has been around for a long time remember the old Windmill
The Dutch were responsible for many refinements of the windmill, primarily for pumping excess water off land that was flooded. As early as 1390, they had connected the mill to "a multi-story tower, with separate floors devoted to grinding grain, removing chaff, storing grain, and (on the bottom) living quarters for the windsmith and his family." Its popularity spread to the point that there were 10,000 windmills in England. But perfecting the windmill's efficiency to the point that it "had all the major features recognized by modern designers as being crucial to the performance of modern wind turbine blades" took almost 500 years. By then, applications ranged from saw-milling timber to processing spices, tobacco, cocoa, paints, and dyes. The windmill was further refined in the late 19th century in the US; some designs from that period are still in use today. Heavy, inefficient wooden blades were replaced by lighter, faster steel blades around 1870. Over the next century, more than six million small windmills were erected in the US in order to aid in watering livestock and supplying homes with water during the development of the West. The first large windmill to produce electricity was the " American multi-blade design," built in 1888. Its 12-kilowatt capabilities were later superceded by modern 70-100 kilowatt wind turbines.
So we can see wind bower has been here sense 1390. We need a lot more wind farms set up and we are going to see more of this type of renewable energy popping up.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 01-31 Hello everyone today lets look in to the alternative energy financing and renewable energy financing news. First one is in Green Car News - Honda Begins Operation of New Solar Hydrogen Station
Los Angeles-Based Station to Re-Fuel Honda Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle TORRANCE, Calif. - January 27, 2010 - Honda today began operation of a next generation solar hydrogen station prototype at the Los Angeles Center of Honda R&D Americas, Inc., intended for ultimate use as a home refueling appliance capable of an overnight refill of fuel cell electric vehicles.
Well this is going to be interesting. It sounds like you have to stay overnight to refuel your car, this would make for a long trip. I can tell it is going to take me some time to get ready for all this renewable energy stuff.
Designed as a single, integrated unit to fit in the user's garage, Honda's next generation Solar Hydrogen Station reduces the size of the system, while producing enough hydrogen (0.5kg) via an 8-hour overnight fill for daily commuting (10,000 miles per year) for a fuel cell electric vehicle.
The previous solar hydrogen station system required both an electrolyzer and a separate compressor unit to create high pressure hydrogen. The compressor was the largest and most expensive component and reduced system efficiency. By creating a new high differential pressure electrolyzer, Honda engineers were able to eliminate the compressor entirely – a world's first for a home use system. This innovation also reduces the size of other key components to make the new station the world's most compact system, while improving system efficiency by more than 25% (value calculated based on simulations) compared to the solar hydrogen station system it replaces.
Compatible with a "Smart Grid" energy system, the Honda Solar Hydrogen Station would enable users to refill their vehicle overnight without the requirement of hydrogen storage, which would lower CO2 emissions by using less expensive off-peak electrical power. During daytime peak power times, the Solar Hydrogen Station can export renewable electricity to the grid, providing a cost benefit to the customer, while remaining energy neutral.
It sounds like this is a step closer to an alternative energy source. I just can’t see staying overnight for a fuel stop I’m just use to a 10 or 15min fuel stop. Some times I’m running behind and I want to do a NASCAR type of pit stop. I have a lot of work to do on my alternative energy ways.
Just remember if you need financing for your alternative energy projects go to Renewable Power and Alternative Energy Financing for all your USA and International Financing needs with a back ground of 28 years experience in financial and operational consulting. They know what they are doing.
you know
we do a lot of talking about going green in our world today. Different companies coming up with things like for example some of the coffee houses that have come up with the idea of bringing in your own reusable coffee cups instead of using throw away cups. Maybe we could do the same thing with soda pop bottles. Return them and the company cleans them reuses them. Why make more plastic bottles when we have plenty to use.
Also another idea is that we could reuse what we have for other things. I have saved used pop bottles to reuse them again over and over. When we go some where I fill them up with whatever drink we will have that day. It is so convenient to have the screw on lid to keep it from spilling.
I have seen art projects made out of pop bottles. Two examples are bird feeders and bird houses. Doing this kind of thing with the family together can create fun times and lasting memories. It is also a great time to teach your children the importance of reusing and recycling.

Whenever you search Google for alternative energy or renewable energy resources you will find many websites about green energy, or information on funding these types of projects. I like to find forums or blogs that are discussing Green energy. A blog is a frequently updated personal journal chronicling links at a Web site, intended for public viewing, a place on the internet where people like you and me can talk about any subject. Most blogs are free and we can learn and also share a huge amount of information.
The same can be said about forums, is a place to express yourself: a medium in which the public may debate an issue or express opinions. On a forum you will find more people participating on a variety of subjects about what you have looked for. You need to be very careful not to spam the forum you are posting on. Read all the rules about posting so you don‘t get kicked out.
When I search for forums on Google, I will search using key words for example, ‘renewable energy forum’ or ‘alternative energy forums’ then you will find forums on that subject and that is the fastest way I know how to find forums on the subject you are looking for.
I will repeat and this is very important, you will need to read the rules or you might find that you have violated one of those rules and get kicked out. You will find lots of good information coming from people who have the same interest as you and then can post to someone else’s article.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 29 Hello everyone on this great day the Lord has made for us on this 29 day of January 2010. As I said before I'm going to take a brake from defining the word alternative energy for a while and focus on some news. The first story comes from Alternative Energy News Blog. This is a new type of Alternative Energy car, this little thing is set to go out in 2012. It is called the Micron and the name says it all, they say that you can put 4 of these tiny cars that hold 2 people in to one parking spot. Go to the story below to fine out more.
Alternative Energy News - The Micron May Change the Way We Travel [1]
The carbon footprint that automobiles leave is about to change, and that change is going to happen much sooner than we think. While it is unlikely that the Micron will replace every car on the road, it will present a very interesting alternative to daily travel. This unique design is eye catching and more.
While it would be nice to think that the environmental problems the world is facing would wake people up and get them to carpool, most people still insist on driving their own car to work every single day. The need for independence is understandable and appreciated, but if most people are doing nothing more than going to work and going home, why continue to waste gas and hurt the environment?
These are the direct concerns that the Micron addresses. Being electric, the emissions issues are immediately settled and being so compact, the congestion on the road will clear up. Imagine 4 vehicles that can hold up to two people that can fit into a parking space of just one car. The amount of city congestion that would be alleviated is simply staggering to even think about. The days of having the SUV in the garage for nothing more than shopping trips may be soon upon us.
The Micron is still being tested and is currently scheduled to be released in 2012. Oddly enough, that is the same year that the Mayan calendar predicts will be the end of the world. While it is unlikely that the destruction that they have in mind will occur, the world as we know it is definitely changing. Instead of the end of the world, it could truly be a new beginning.
This would be a great way to save gas and is an answer to the environmental problems we are facing but I have some questions. If my wife and I were going down the highway doing 60 mpg, how much would be left of us if another car pulled in front of us?
Well, going to go for now; there is a big winter storm moving in to Kansas with up to a foot of snow coming.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 1 Hello everyone,
Talking about the definition of alterative energy. We are down to #3
3. Energy derived from any source other than fossil fuels, Energy derived from any renewable source i.e other than fossil fuels or nuclear fission.
Fossil fuels, coal, oil and natural gas, are a non-renewable source of energy.
Fossil fuel from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fossil fuels or gas fuels are fuels formed by natural resources such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms. The age of the organisms and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years, and sometimes exceeds 650 million years. These fuels contain a high percentage of carbon and hydrocarbons.
Fossil fuels range from volatile materials with low carbon:hydrogen ratios like methane, to liquid petroleum to nonvolatile materials composed of almost pure carbon, like anthracite coal. Methane can be found in hydrocarbon fields, alone, associated with oil, or in the form of methane clathrates. It is generally accepted that they formed from the fossilized remains of dead plants and animals[2] by exposure to heat and pressure in the Earth's crust over hundreds of millions of years.[3] This biogenic theory was first introduced by Georg Agricola in 1556 and later by Mikhail Lomonosov in the 18th century.
It was estimated by the Energy Information Administration that in 2007 primary sources of energy consisted of petroleum 36.0%, coal 27.4%, natural gas 23.0%, amounting to an 86.4% share for fossil fuels in primary energy consumption in the world.
[4]. Non-fossil sources in 2006 included hydroelectric 6.3%, nuclear 8.5%, and (geothermal, solar, tide, wind, wood, waste) amounting 0.9 percent.[5] World energy consumption was growing about 2.3% per year.
Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources because they take millions of years to form, and reserves are being depleted much faster than new ones are being formed. The production and use of fossil fuels raise environmental concerns. A global movement toward the generation of renewable energy is therefore under way to help meet increased energy needs.
The burning of fossil fuels produces around 21.3 billion tonnes (21.3 gigatonnes) of carbon dioxide per year, but it is estimated that natural processes can only absorb about half of that amount, so there is a net increase of 10.65 billion tonnes of atmospheric carbon dioxide per year (one tonne of atmospheric carbon is equivalent to 44/12 or 3.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide).[6] Carbon dioxide is one of the greenhouse gases that enhances radiative forcing and contributes to global warming, causing the average surface temperature of the Earth to rise in response, which climate scientists agree will cause major adverse effects.
Now, again we know Global warning is all a hoax but I wanted to include every thing that Wikipedia, said about Fossil fuels. Now lets look at Nuclear Fission.. Wow the NF word that sounds scary.
In nuclear physics and nuclear chemistry, nuclear fission is a nuclear reaction in which the nucleus of an atom splits into smaller parts, often producing free neutrons and lighter nuclei, which may eventually produce photons (in the form of gamma rays). Fission of heavy elements is an exothermic reaction which can release large amounts of energy both as electromagnetic radiation and as kinetic energy of the fragments (heating the bulk material where fission takes place). For fission to produce energy, the total binding energy of the resulting elements has to be higher than that of the starting element. Fission is a form of nuclear transmutation because the resulting fragments are not the same element as the original atom.
Nuclear fission produces energy for nuclear power and to drive the explosion of nuclear weapons. Both uses are made possible because certain substances called nuclear fuels undergo fission when struck by free neutrons and in turn generate neutrons when they break apart.
This makes possible a self-sustaining chain reaction that releases energy at a controlled rate in a nuclear reactor or at a very rapid uncontrolled rate in a nuclear weapon.
The amount of free energy contained in nuclear fuel is millions of times the amount of free energy contained in a similar mass of chemical fuel such as gasoline, making nuclear fission a very tempting source of energy; however, the products of nuclear fission are radioactive and remain so for significant amounts of time, giving rise to a nuclear waste problem.
Concerns over nuclear waste accumulation and over the destructive potential of nuclear weapons may counterbalance the desirable qualities of fission as an energy source, and give rise to ongoing political debate over nuclear power.
Ok I'm seeing something here, would you like to go swimming in the pond beside that nuclear power plant or that pond beside that wind farm? I would want to go to the pond beside the wind farm. I have a lot more to cover on the next post. I have been posting this every day so please be back tomorrow, we have a lot to go over.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 01-28-10 Hello everyone on this great day the Lord has made for us on this 27 day of January 2010. Im going to take a brake from defining the word alternative energy and focus on some news that is going on in the world about alternative energy. Im even hearing about green energy projects in the news every day or renewable energy products or jobs it is like the hole world is hocked on this. Look at this story from the New York Times.
Cost Works Against Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources in Time of Recession
WASHINGTON Windmills and solar panel arrays have become symbols of America’s growing interest in alternative energy. Yet as Congress begins debating new rules to restrict carbon dioxide emissions and promote electricity produced from renewable sources, an underlying question is how much more Americans will be willing to pay to harness the wind and the sun. Read the full story Here. New York Times.
I to see America’s growing interest in alternative energy and some gadgets like in the story below.
www.alternative-energy-news.info/wind Wind Turbine Power Goes Portable with Foldable Wind Generator
Turbine-power-portable-foldable-wind-generator/
Renewable energy is one of the hottest things on the market right now but until recently, solar power has been getting most of the attention. While there are plenty of techno gadgets, like solar briefcases and solar laptop chargers, that can have solar power on the run, very few if any items exist for
This would be great to have a solar power charger for your laptop or how about a solar charger for you cell phone. I have a cozzan who lives out in the country he has a fens around his house, at the drive way is a electric gate that he opens and shuts by remote control the gate is powered by a 12volt car battery. The battery is charged by solar panels.
Remember Y2K, everyone was storing up on food a gasoline to power there generators but the problem I saw was when everyone rain out of gas what are they going to do? Will you cant go down to the local gas station and full up because there is no power for the pumps to pump the gasoline out of the tanks. But what if every thing was hocked up to wind and solar power this it what I like about alternative energy.
Now Remember if you need funding for you alternative energy projects go to
Im Don Conrad the alternative energy guy.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing Hello everyone,
talking about the definition of alterative energy. We are down to #3
3. Energy derived from any source other than fossil fuels; Energy derived from any renewable source; i.e other than fossil fuels or nuclear fission.
Fossil fuels, coal, oil and natural gas, are a non-renewable source of energy.
Fossil fuel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fossil fuels or gas fuels are fuels formed by natural resources such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms. The age of the organisms and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years, and sometimes exceeds 650 million years.[1] These fuels contain a high percentage of carbon and hydrocarbons.
Ok im seeing something here, would you like to go swimming in the pond beside that nuclear power plant or that pond beside that wind farm? I would want to go to the pond beside the wind farm. I have a lot more to cover on the next post. I have been posting this every day so please be back tomorrow, we have a lot to go over.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing Lets ask Google the definition of alternative energy
1. energy derived from sources that do not use up natural resources or harm the environment
2. Alternative energy is an umbrella term that refers to any source of usable energy intended to replace fuel sources without the undesired consequences of the replaced fuels
3. Energy derived from any source other than fossil fuels; Energy derived from any renewable source; i.e other than fossil fuels or nuclear fission
4. energy that is not popularly used and is usually environmentally sound, such as solar or wind energy (as opposed to fossil fuels).
5. Energy from a source other than the conventional fossil-fuel sources of oil, natural gas and coal (ie, wind, running water, the sun)
6. forms, especially relaxing nuclear power regulations; and development of hydrogen as an economically viable energy platform
7. includes all energy sources and energy technologies that minimize environmental impacts relative to conventional hydrocarbon resources and technology.
8. Renewable energy sources, such as wind, flowing water, solar energy and biomass, which create less environmental damage and pollution than fossil fuels, and offer an alternative to nonrenewable resources.
9. Energy produced from renewable sources, such as sunlight or wind. It has the added benefit of not generating heat-trapping "greenhouse" gases
10. Energy generated from alternatives to fossil fuel. Need not be renewable
11. An umbrella term used to describe any non-traditional energy source (wind power, solar energy) that replaces more traditional sources that use fossil fuels.
Wow, will is you can see Google come up with 11 definitions. 1. energy derived from sources that do not use up natural resources or harm the environment. All the world can use this, if we would use alterative energy we could save our natural resources. If we used alterative energy we could produce energy that would be environmentally safe. I like the thought of spending my weekend out on the lake with my family fishing and skiing and swimming and having fun.
This is what Commercial Funding International is here for to funned environmentally safe energy sources.
This is CFI Mission is.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 01-22-10
I’m sorry in the last post I did not finish the story on Solar-powered UAV from Alternative Energy News Blog for the complete story go to www.alternative-energy-news.info/solar-powered-uav-under-development Alternative Energy News it is about Queensland University building a model of a solar powered unmanned flight system for round the clock surveillance. The email I received today from them had another neat story in it about Self-Assembling Solar Cells You can find more about it here www.alternative-energy-news.info/self-assembling-solar-cells/
Every place I turn I see more and more happening as far as alternative energy is concerned. I have mentioned it in other posts. All of the world is going green in one way or another. One day when I was driving there was a large convoy of eighteen wheelers that looked like they were carrying individual rotors for wind turbines but the thing is, after I took a second look, that it was only half of a rotor not a whole one. It took two trucks to deliver one rotor. Imagine how long one of those trucks are and double it and that is how long one of those things are.
This is awesome time to be in to see how the world is trying to think of ways to create alternative energy. Also the internet is a great highway of information for learning how to make some our own projects at home. Some of the greatest ideas for different types of alternative energy begin at home.
Just remember if you need financing for your alternative energy projects go to Renewable Power and Alternative Energy Financing for all your USA and International Financing needs with a back ground of 28 years experience in financial and operational consulting. They know what they are doing.

Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing 01-21-10 Renewable energy Funding and Alternative Energy Financing
When it comes to green energy, I like the idea of having a alternative energy solution to put in to action is a good idea however I do not believe in this thing called global warming or climate change. I believe some people got rich off of the whole thing. I do think that we could use alternative energy to give us clean air to breath and clean water to drink.
So with that said why do we need a alternative energy source? I believe we could stop a lot of illnesses from happening. Where I live we are seeing more wind farms being set up, also I see hybrid cars driving around but the cost for a hybrid car is a lot more money to buy than most people can afford compared to a nonhybrid car.
I drive a big old ford F150 pickup and a Yamaha TW200 motorcycle , the Yamaha gets 70 to 80mpg but when it rains I get plenty of water on me and I have never been able to find the heater or AC switch. I like my old ford pickup it is a work horse. I know I’m not doing very much for going Green or doing the Green thing but I will keep tying.
Sometimes I find it hard to do the green thing but I try to. Going green takes some thinking and work for all of us. I see the health benefits of looking for alternative energy sources and I know it would clean up our world. I watch the all the things other counties are doing like putting waste to energy plants. Here is what this plant is.
Waste to Energy Plants
An environmentally sound and techno-economically viable methodology to treat biodegradable waste is highly crucial for the sustainability of our world. Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plants, based on anaerobic digestion of biomass, are highly efficient in harnessing the untapped renewable energy potential of organic waste by converting the biodegradable fraction of the waste into high calorific gases. Waste-to-energy plants offer two important benefits of environmentally safe waste management and disposal, as well as the generation of clean, renewable energy
I just received a email from Alternative Energy news Blog it reads like this
Solar-Powered UAV Under Development

If UAVs starts running on the solar system, then it will save lots of expensive fossil fuel and the add-ons in the form of greenhouse effects. Researchers at the Queensland University of Technology are working on a model of a solar-powered unmanned flight system for round-the-clock surveillance. They have christened their baby as the
remember it takes a lot of funding to do something like this and that is a good reason to call Commercial Funding International CFI is a Alternative Energy Financing group, they do.

Google Search For alternative energy If you do a search on Google for news or things like new about alternative energy you will find a lot of information on about all the green energy projects going on in the world to day. Like I found a website that has a lot of information on alternative energy news. I really like the story on The Pedal-A-Watt Stationary Bicycle Generator Today’s twin goals of keeping fit while doing something good for the planet by creating electricity without any pollution come together in a product that has been around for over ten years – The Pedal-A-Watt Stationary Bicycle Generator. Use your bicycle along with the Pedal-A-Watt Stand (it takes 15 seconds to drop your bike in) and create anywhere from 100 to 300 watts depending on how strong you are.
I really like this idea, this would give us exercise while you say, witch TV. Do you thank your kids would thank twice about witching tv if they hade to produce the power to witch it. It makes electricity with out any pollution that in it self is great.
Also this one titled More Energy-Efficient Communications Networks Reputed companies are always conscious about their brand image and what a great way to build great brand by taking clean and green route! Bell Lab is the division of the Alcatel-Lucent. Currently Alcatel-Lucent is trying to invest in their communications networks to make it 1,000 times more energy efficient. They have launched a five year program known as "Green Touch." Members affiliated with the Green Touch are AT&T, and China Mobile from industry; MIT and Stanford University from the academic world; and The French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control from government. Industrial laboratory members are Bell Labs, the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Freescale Semiconductor. The project has received the nods of ascent from United States Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and the British, French, South Korean and Portuguese governments.
It takes a lot of funding for projects like this alternative energy financingor green energy funding is a necessity for the alternative energy projects. Green energy is simply a way of producing power in a way that is safer for and cleaner for the environment.
If you are serious about securing funding for your alternative energy and green energy projects you have to look for the right financing firm there are a lot of banking and financing firms out there so you need to do your research. a lot of researching is done on Google.
Google is the fastest and easiest way to reach for such things as alternative energy ,green energy, wind power, and more wind power plants are popping up all over the world and groups are looking for funding to build more.
Alternative energy is on hi demand with more people wanting a cleaner environment a new way of producing energy is one of the ways to clean up or air we breathe. with all the ways we have to do this such as wind farms and waste to energy plants and other green energy power sources. The hi demand for this kind of energy and is forcing many country’s to look for funding these types of projects.
Lets keep on looking for power sources that give us cleaner air.

These groups are looking for dependable financing for there green projects and that is how Commercial Funding International can help, we are here for your funding needs. CFI has potential Lender and Lender/Investor underwriting sources for Alternative Energy Financing and Renewable Power Financing, for the following types of projects:
Algae to Biofuel Plants (with proven technology)
As contrasted to first-generation biomass, this is unlikely to replace more than 10 and 30 percent of the global fuel supply, and could cause the possible price disruption in commodities like corn or sugar cane. Algae is one of the most efficient organisms on earth in terms of converting sunlight to biomass, at an energy efficiency approaching 5%, compared to less than 1% for fast-growing crops like sugarcane
Anaerobic Digestion Plants
Anaerobic digestion is a process that occurs naturally in the absence of air. During this process, micro-organisms stabilize waste organic matter and release biogas. There are existing sites that exist that demonstrate the cost effectiveness of capturing methane gas from an anaerobic digester to produce electricity. Anaerobic digestion plants not only decrease GHGs emission but also reduce dependence on fossil fuels for energy requirements. The anaerobic process has several advantages over other methods of waste treatment. Most significantly, it is able to accommodate relatively high rates of organic loading. With increasing use of anaerobic technology for treating various process streams, it is expected that industries would become more economically competitive because of their more judicious use of natural resources. Therefore, anaerobic digestion technology is almost certainly assured of increased usage in the future.
Biodiesel Plants
According to scientists, carbon dioxide is one of the main greenhouse gases contributing to global warming. 100% biodiesel can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 75% over petroleum diesel and the utilization of a blend of 20% biodiesel reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 15%
Biomass Plants
Biomass is an inexpensive and abundant domestic feedstock for power generation, alternative fuels production, and biofuels. Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plants, based on anaerobic digestion of biomass, are highly efficient in harnessing the untapped renewable energy potential of organic waste by converting the biodegradable fraction of the waste into high calorific gases. The global market for thermal and biological waste-to-energy (WTE) technologies was worth $19.9 billion in 2008. According to projections, the sector will be worth $26.2 billion in the next five years.
Coal to Liquid Plants
The process involves two major stages, gasification to produce synthetic gas ("Syngas") rich in hydrogen and carbon, and a liquefication stage where the Syngas is reacted over a catalyst to produce high quality, ultraclean synthetic fuels and chemical feedstocks. This technology is well demonstrated in South Africa, where currently 30% of the country's gasoline and diesel fuel needs are met through CTL plants.
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Projects
LNG is a natural gas composed of mineral or fossil fuels that is transformed to liquid form from its original gaseous state. The liquefied natural gas market has greatly expanded and, as gas supplies in consuming countries such as the US, UK and China dwindle, the market is set to see substantial development in the coming years. A number of converging trends have resulted in the greatly expanded role of LNG in worldwide markets: worldwide natural gas use is projected to double in the next 15 years, technical innovations have made LNG processing and shipping more affordable and producing nations are looking to monetize stranded natural gas reserves that cannot economically be moved to markets by pipeline.
Solar/Photovoltaic Plants
This technology is the application of solar cells for energy through the direct conversion of sun energy into electricity. Due to the growing demand for clean sources of energy, solar cells and photovoltaic arrays manufacturing has expanded dramatically in the recent years. Photovoltaic production has been doubling every 2 years and has increased by an average of 48% each year since 2002. This makes it one of the world's fastest-growing energy technologies. At the end of 2008, the cumulative global photovoltaic installations reached 15,200 megawatts and approximately 90% of this generating capacity consists of electrical systems that are tied to the grid.
Waste-to-energy plants offer two important benefits of environmentally safe waste management and disposal, as well as the generation of clean, renewable energy.
Wind Farms
Wind power is one of the fastest growing niches in the alternative energy sector. Wind turbines generate clean and green power but they have the precondition that the power unit has to be set up in a strong wind area. Wind power is widely used in the USA and Europe and is growing at the rate of 30 percent annually, with a worldwide installed capacity of 121,000 megawatts in 2008.
